Has been involved in and counseled others in Real Estate Investing since 1984 and in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities and oil & gas since 1992.
 
Manages approximately 100 million dollars for 250 households across the United States.

Founder and host of Christian Investors Daily radio program from 1998-2006. CID was heard daily, Monday through Friday, on radio stations in San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Corpus Christi.

2005-2007 President of the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC).

2006-2007 initiated and led a weekly coaching call for Investment Representatives nationwide. During these calls Bob taught successful business management principals that he has incorporated into his own practice at CIS. He has also organized speakers for many of these coaching calls to speak on their own successful practices.
 
For over 20 years Bob has spoken on the topic of investing to thousands of people in churches, public & private schools, professional organizations, as well as various clubs and private organizations.
 
Has clients located and is registered to sell securities in the following states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.
 
Attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos from 1980-1984. His hobbies and favorite activities include: Teaching the Bible, family activities, being very involved in his church (Oakwood Baptist in New Braunfels), weight lifting, travel and building relationships with people.
 
Has a strong family Christian heritage dating back to the early 1800’s. He grew up in a Christian home and acknowledged Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He is a 6th Generation Central Texan and he talks and thinks like one!
 
Has been married to his beautiful wife, Rachael, since 1984. They have three children, two in college and one still at home. The Barbers reside in New Braunfels, Texas.
