My wife, Rachael, and I have been married since 1984 and have 3 wonderful children. We've been in business together for our entire marriage. I am the outgoing risk taker and visionary while she is the practical, down to earth type. We balance each other out. My hobbies are weightlifting, outdoor activities and traveling. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior in August of 1984. My family attends Oakwood Baptist Church.


I am the founder and CEO of Christian Investment Services. I have been called to carry out the vision God gave me years ago for CIS. This vision is to provide a haven for Christians to invest God's money (Psalm 24:1) according to Biblical principles. The mission of CIS is to guide our clients in making wise decisions based on Biblical Principles for wealth management.

Nathaniel Morris 
Client Services

I have been married to my beautiful bride, Cerise, since 1999. We have been blessed with two energetic boys. My hobbies are playing golf, softball, and wrestling with my boys. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was a young man. My family and I attend Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels.

I've been with CIS since May of 2002. My responsibilities are to oversee the Client Services. This includes preparing and processing paperwork for new accounts, transferring, withdrawing and adding funds. I prepare for and conduct account reviews with clients, answer questions and help resolve issues that need to be addressed. I also coordinate securities and insurance licensing for the reps in the office and keep up with compliance issues and regulations.

Sal Cadena 
Investment Manager

My wife, Patty and I have been married since 1988. We have two awesome girls. My hobbies are keeping up with my girls and reading as much as possible about being the best dad and husband possible. I accepted Christ's calling as a senior in high school and have been blessed to walk His path ever since. I also enjoy playing basketball and staying involved in the lives of my parents and siblings. I was a secondary education teacher for 15 years specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science before coming to CIS in June of 2002. As the Investment Manager for our firm it is my responsibility to recommend and research the funds we are using within our models and complete trades as necessary. I also meet with clients and review their accounts.

Rachael Barber 
Project Manager

Being married to and working with Bob since 1984 has been an exciting challenge. When we are not running our business together, we are involved in many activities with our children and church. I also teach a Life Skills electives class at our local Christian High School and work with my church, Oakwood Baptist, feeding under privileged children at Kid's Club. Although I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior in 7th grade, I didn't allow Him to be Lord of my life until 1988. My interests include scrap-booking, organic nutrition, traveling and the outdoors.

It is my job to design the graphics we use in advertising, invitations and marketing. I take care of any structural projects in- and outside of the office as well as investment research and account review summary reports for our client's portfolios.

Rene' Broughton 
Office Manager

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Bob, since 1984 (not to be confused with Bob, the owner of CIS. However, they are the best of friends). We have one adult daughter. My passions are ministry, prayer and taking care of my family and co-workers. In my leisure I enjoy spending time with my family, card making and traveling. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1990 and attend New Braunfels Bible Church with my husband and daughter. 

I've been with CIS since June 2001. My responsibilities of managing the office include; bookkeeping, ordering supplies, writing letters, assisting Bob, updating the web-site and taking care of the people in the office. I also coordinate Client Appreciation Events as well as Educational Workshops.

I have been married to my husband, Adam, since 1985. We have four daughters and two grandchildren. My spare time is spent playing with my children/grandchildren, exercising, working in my yard and reading up on spiritual growth, health and finance. I also help my husband in his business. "Through the gate in '88"; that's the year I was saved. My family attends Shepard of the Hills church in Canyon Lake.

I've been with CIS since June 2001 as Bob's Assistant. I have the wonderful opportunity of being the first to get to know those who call our office. I also get to call and talk to our clients on a regular basis when I schedule their account reviews.

Michelle Boliver
Director of First Impressions

I have been married to my husband, JeMarc since 2004. We do not have any children yet, unless you count our many pets. I enjoy experimenting with arts and crafts and working with my husband in his sculpture studio. I also enjoy gardening and yard work. I accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, being a pastor's kid, although I did not truly understand the implications of this until I was a teenager. JeMarc and I are members of Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels.

I have been with CIS since October 2006, when I began as Rene's assistant. I now greet visitors, answer and direct all incoming calls, enter computer data, oversee all mailings, make custom cards and oversee the reception area.
